Regarding abortion: It won't be enough to end all abortions. The ancient world was filled with pagan temples and, as belief in Christ spread, these were destroyed and/or rededicated. The scripture says, “the gods of the heathens are demons.” Good to destroy temples where demons are worshiped. But another common course was to turn them into Catholic Churches. A sign of triumph. Where evil once prevailed, now good prevails. Those who live in the vicinity now may offer rational worship to the true God.
For example, in Rome the old temple dedicated to all the gods, which was built before the birth of Christ and stands to this day, was in later years made a Catholic Church and renamed All Saints. Also, many know Padre Pio was from San Giovanni Rotundo. Rotundo means round. In that town was a temple to the god Janus whose statue had two faces, one looking to the past, one to the future. The temple was round, hence the name Rotundo. But when those people turned to the light of Christ, Janus' temple was rededicated as a Church dedicated to St. John - San Giovanni, hence the name San Giovanni Rotundo.
So too in my view Planned Parenthood buildings, havens of torture and butchery, should be razed and replaced by Catholic Churches, where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass may be offered. How beautiful that where death reigned, Christ the life of the world might reign. And those who once performed these procedures - let us pray that they themselves may be converted and participate in the Holy Mass offered on those sites. This would be a true reversal of hearts.
