Crusader Chronicle - Thursday, Oct. 12
Dear CtRCS Families,
Hopefully our students enjoyed their day off this past Monday. As you may know, Christ the Redeemer was one of five host schools for our fall Archdiocesan in-service. What a great way to show off our school to our teacher friends from around the diocese AND learn from one another. The focus of the day for teachers was the Domestic Church.
The Church has told us for decades that it is
where we are given our first instruction about God, how much he loves us, how we respond to God’s love through prayer and how we live out of that love in relationship with others. This understanding of “domestic church” is affirmed in the Catechism 1666.
Christ the Redeemer Catholic school is committed to helping parents enter into communion with Jesus Christ, to experience Church in the home and to feel at home in the Church.
A few quick carline updates and reminders:
For the safety of our children, please stay off your cell phones during carline.
Please only enter carline at the light on Huffmeister, You will notice that we have blocked off other entrances with cones. Please respect these blocked off areas.
Finally, if you arrive after 8 a.m. please park and walk your child into school so that you may sign him or her in.
May you each have a blessed week.
Fully Rely On God,

Remember, a portion of all proceeds goes right back to the library!
GENERAL LIBRARY NOTES
Please also remember to send your child's library book back to school on their library day. If they don't return their book, they are unable to check out a new one. A helpful tip might be to keep their library book in their backpack when they are not reading it, ensuring that it comes back to school with them each and every day, and this makes it available to them for independent reading throughout the school day as well. Read, read read everyday!
