St. Monica's got homework for you!
I'm giving you homework :)
In my last email I talked about discipleship and challenged you to be an answered prayer for another prayer warrior. Well I'm stepping it up a level!
I want you to reply to this email with at least one story of you talking with someone about their faith journey. It doesn't have to be pretty, or perfect and you may even tell me about how awkward it was but I want you to go out there and be awkward for Jesus! Risk looking or feeling stupid for Jesus and then tell me about it!
I'm not asking you to preach to anyone, or even respond to what they say, just ask them to share their story and let them talk. People love to talk about themselves so get out there and let someone have that opportunity.
This semester's theme for
is Come Alive, it focuses on Ezekiel's Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones. We want to prophesy life into ourselves and others. This theme fits perfectly with St. Monica's army. Please join us on Saturday, October 28th from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at Good Shepherd Chapel for the next Encounter
Our next meeting is Nov. 2nd, I hope to see you all there!
St. Monica's Army
Meet in The Adoration Chapel for 6pm Mass, prayer vigil starts after Mass and ends by 7:30pm
Are you going?
