Don't forget to grab a leaf from the tree in St. Anne Hall or the Narthex so you can purchase some food items that will become a Thanksgiving meal to a family in need! Target is currently selling turkeys for only 69 cents a pound!

In preparation for the World Day of the Poor, declared by Pope Francis as Nov. 19, 2017, the Culinary Angels will hit the road and help Catholic Charities with the preparation of a hot meal for the poor. The Culinary Angels invite parishioners 50 and over to join them at the Catholic Charities campus on Tuesday, Nov. 14th for 11:30 a.m. Mass celebrated by Fr. Sean O’Brien, share a meal with the poor beginning at noon, and then tour Catholic Charities to see their outreach efforts. Parishioners must provide their own transportation to Catholic Charities, 2450 N. Harvard Ave. (near Harvard and Apache). If possible, consider bringing a package of larger sized diapers (sizes 4, 5 or 6 are needed) as a donation to Catholic Charities’ clothing warehouse. Sign up will be available through Sunday, Nov. 12th at the Welcome Center.
We are in need of sponsors! Please contact Dana if you would like to bless an RCIA Candidate with the gift of sponsorship at RCIA@stanneba.org!
