And the Funnies:
A little boy spotted a priest and asked him,
"Why do you dress so funny?"
"This is the uniform I wear when I work," the priest said patiently.
The boy considered that and asked, "Do you have a boo-boo?"
The priest was puzzled for a moment, but he figured out that the boy was looking at his Roman collar. The priest pulled out the white plastic insert and showed it to the child, telling him that it was also part of his uniform.
On the back side of the collar there was some writing: "Wash with warm soapy water."
The priest showed this to the little boy and then asked him, "Do you know what these words say?"
The little boy, obviously too young to read, said, "I sure do." The priest was surprised but said, "Okay then, tell me what they say."
"Kills fleas and ticks for up to six months," the boy replied.
A little girl walked to and from school daily.
One day, though the weather that morning was okay, by afternoon the winds had whipped up, bringing thunder and lightning. Soon, the thunder was roaring and the lightning flashed like a flaming sword, cutting through the sky.
The little girl's mother was worried and got in her car and drove along the route to her child's school.
As she did, she saw her little girl walking along the sidewalk. At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile.
The mother pulled up next to her daughter, opened the door and asked, "What are you doing, honey?"
The child answered, "God keeps taking pictures of me. Do you think he wants me to smile?"
