Christmas - Help Still Need at Christmas Eve 7pm Mass
Thanks to those of you who have responded to wish our parishioners and guests Merry Christmas tomorrow evening and on Christmas Day as either a greeter or a distributor of our book present.
We still need help at the 7 pm Mass on Christmas Eve. If you will be attending that Mass, please consider signing to spend a few minutes as a greeter or book distributor.
See below for more information and for the sign up link.
God bless you and have a very Merry Christmas.
As our church fills up at Christmas, we will be blessed to welcome extended family, visiting travelers, and returning Catholics who may not regularly attend Mass. Christmas 2017 could be your neighbor’s only opportunity to encounter Jesus in the Eucharist, and your only opportunity to say “Peace be with you” with love in your heart and a smile on your face. Let us prepare our hearts to receive them in love, and
signup to greet them
at the door!
We are still in need of Christmas Greeters for most Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses. Please
go to SignUpGenius
and signup for an open slot. You can also find the SignUpGenius link on the parish website at
. If you're not able to signup online, feel free to email Elisa Foster,
Greeting before Mass:
Arrive 20-30 minutes early to Mass.
Station yourself at the exterior doors of the church.
Offer a warm smile and a friendly greeting as you open the door for people coming in.
Book Encounters after Mass:
Following Communion or the Final Blessing, proceed to assigned entrance to handout books after Mass. Many people leave early, so we want to be ready with books for everyone, including those departing before the end.
Take a quick moment to say, “Thank you for choosing to pray with us this Christmas,” and hand them a book with a smile.
Don’t worry - signing up as a Christmas Greeter does not automatically add you to the regular
list. If being a Fatima Greeter is something you would like to do regularly, please email Elisa Foster,
