OLL News: Refugees and Flowers
involves receiving donated flowers, arranging them into small containers and delivering them to people that need to have their lives brightened. Volunteers of all faiths meet at Raleigh Moravian Church (1816 Ridge Road) on Tuesdays
at 10AM to do just that!
Typically 300-500 arrangements are made in two hours and then delivered to brighten the lives of people living with sickness, disability, terminal illness and/or poverty. They can always use more "volunteers" so just drop in whenever you can.
Below are some of the OLL "Volunteers".

Thank you. You did it again! With your donations the Refugee Resettlement Ministry was able to completely furnish a 3 bedroom apartment for our 35th Refugee family of 9 from Afghanistan. They have waited many years in Pakistan for permission to relocate to the United States and, through the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), to settle in Raleigh, NC. The RR Ministry will continue to help them enroll in schools, find jobs, transport them to medical and dental appointments etc. As Pope Francis said “they are the face of Christ”.
