Thoughts for the Weekend:
Sunday's first reading (Exodus 20: 1-17) tells the story of how we gained the Ten Commandments: God gave them to Moses while he was on the mountain.
For some of us, the Ten Commandments are something we've known about since we were children; for others, it's something recently learned but understandable in what God asks of us to do. We're asked to honor God and to be His People-- good, just, and merciful.
But is there ever a time where you don't follow the Ten Commandments? Where do you fall flat at times? What can you do to be better? Reflect on that each week as we continue through this Lenten season.
