Update on Fr. Carucci's Health
As many of you are aware, Father Carucci has been facing a serious health problem for some time now. The condition is known as IgA nephropathy. A detailed description of this condition can be found on the Mayo Clinic web page at
Because this disease has a hereditary component, and Father Carucci’s father, Deacon Michael Carucci, also suffered from this disease, his family members (the best candidates for organ donation), are ineligible to be transplant donors.
Over the last year, many of you have asked how to help Fr. Carucci. Please begin by continuing to pray for him. He has been approved for a kidney transplant at UAB medical center. UAB works with three different types of donors: deceased donors, live donors and donor pairs. If you would like more information regarding the living donor and paired donor processes, please
or call 888-822-7892.

SAVE THE DATE: The next "Between the Masses" event is March 18 at 9:00 am. Holy "Holy Week"!!!
This hour-long event is centered on the passion and Resurrection. It brings children and adults together through a variety of activities, each related to the meaning of Jesus' passion, death, and Resurrection. Parents, grandparents, and/or older siblings lead the children through their choice of activities and, using the background handouts provided, talk with the children about Jesus' passion and Resurrection as it relates to the activity.
The Teens are hungry - spiritually AND physically! Please consider supporting our Youth Group by providing a meal one week. We typically have 8-12 in attendance and they like pretty much everything!
Sign up to bring a meal one Sunday.
