Quilt Bingo 2018
Tremendous Turnout to CTK's Quilt Bingo
A true act of stewardship for so many parishioners. A big
to all who participated in anyway including but not limited to all the quilters, those who organized the event, set up and tear down crews, cooks, those who donated door prizes or made desserts, servers, those who sold bingo cards and raffles and so many other roles. This event takes the time and talent of numerous people to make it a success. Congratulations to all the winners!
Students preparing for Confirmation attended the Diocesan Retreat (DIR) lead by the Diocesan Retreat Team (DIRT) here at Christ the King last Saturday. The retreat helps the youth to prepare spiritually for their Confirmation. They have attended confirmation classes since September. The day consisted of many activities including engagement in conversation/listening and sharing sessions, some of the girls prayed the rosary by the Blessed Virgin Mary statue, some of the boys prayed their rosary while walking around campus, other group of girls by the school fountain and there was a group of boys under the shade of trees using rosaries the retreat team provided. They attended Adoration, Benediction, and Reconciliation. Lunch and snacks were provided by CTK's Knights of Columbus. The top left picture is of a back flip promised to the youth by one of the retreat team members.

and above all, help from on high."

Get ready to come in out of the cold and enjoy story time offered by the Christ the King Library. This story time will be on Wednesday, March 28th from 3:00-3:30 pm. There will be a book about birds, a song about them, and we will be stringing cranberries and popcorn to leave for the birds as a snack. Go to the school office and sign in, and come up to the library for some bird “fun”. Hope to see you there!!
