St. Joseph Weekly News: Happy Easter!
The message I want to share with you this Easter comes from St. John Chrysostom who was born in Antioch in 349. His Easter Homily is a powerful message for all to hear.
-Fr. Terry Rassmussen
If any persons are devout and love God
Let them come to this radiant triumphant feast.
If any have fasted long
Let them now receive refreshment.
If any have labored from the first hour
Let them today receive their reward.
If any delayed to the ninth hour
Let them draw near, fearing nothing.
For the Lord will accept the last even as the first.
Therefore all of you enter into the joy of your Lord.
Let no one fear death, for the Savior’s death has set us free.
Christ is risen and death is overthrown.
Christ is risen and the angels rejoice.
To Christ be honor and glory, even to eternity.

An Easter Prayer
Jesus, you are risen!!!
You are with us.
Keep us ever mindful of how
You are a part of our lives
In a deep and profound way.
Surprise us with a touch of your love
In places where we never thought
We would find you.
Fill our hearts with hope.
May the gift of your presence
Transform every ordinary moment of ours
Into a sacred place where you dwell.
Fill us with your peace.
