Good Friday is a day of
fasting and abstinence
is available at 11:30 am Tuesday - Friday of Holy Week. Confession is also available from 8:30 - 10:30 pm on Holy Thursday.
Parking in the lot next to St. Mary's is always FREE on Saturdays and Sundays for St. Mary's Masses and meetings.
Parking is also free for Holy Thursday and Good Friday services.
We love having babies and small children at Masses at St. Mary's. But when the need arises with crying or restless little ones, please take them to the Crypt as a courtesy to others. Our
sound system in the Crypt is working
, so you can follow the Mass from downstairs. Please come back to the main church for Holy Communion.
Fr. Neely will
bless Easter baskets
on Saturday, March 31, at 11 am. A Polish tradition, baskets containing a sampling of Easter foods are brought to church to be blessed on Holy Saturday. The basket is traditionally lined with a white linen or lace napkin and decorated with sprigs of boxwood (bukszpan), the typical Easter evergreen.
to everyone who helped make the reception for our newly-ordained deacon, the Rev. Mr. Rhodes Bolster, such a success last Sunday. Deacon Bolster will be serving at St. Mary's throughout Holy Week Easter Triduum.
On Saturday, April 7, there will be a
First Saturday Mass at 11 am
. There will be no Eucharistic Adoration after the First Saturday Mass, however, because of a wedding at St. Mary's that afternoon.
