Today is Holy Thursday/ Maundy Thursday. On this day we remember the Last Supper, the washing of the disciple's feet, the giving of the new commandment, Jesus weeping in the garden, Judas' betrayal, Jesus' arrest, and Peter's denial.
At 7PM we will gather in the Parish Hall here at St. Mark's for worship set in the context of dinner.
The menu is
Roasted Salmon with blueberry balsamic relish
Jumbo Shrimp with roasted tomatoes, green onions, and mild chilis
Lemon Basil Chicken with Artichokes
Jasmine Rice Pilaf
Part of our worship tonight is the washing of feet. We will be inviting all youth/ young people to lead us in this priestly ministry, as the Body of Christ washes the Body of Christ.
The St. John's and St. Mark's combines choirs were rehearsing last night for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. They sounded just glorious!
