Open My Eyes, Pt. 2
Open My Eyes
"In the year that King Uzziah died,
I saw the Lord..."
How many times had Isaiah sat in that very spot? Said the same prayers? Followed the same traditions? And yet, there was a moment when his eyes were
to see the unseen.
When Jesus is revealed to us, everything changes.
Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am undone!”
Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
for my eyes have seen the King
, the Lord of hosts. Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.”
Have you seen Jesus?
Have you been undone in his presence?
Has he touched you with his cleansing fire?
Can you say as Isaiah did, "Here am I! Send me?"
A surrendered life is a transformed life; and a transformed life is a worshipful life.
God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
