What’s Happening this Fall
This Saturday is our first 5PM service in the Indoor Pavilion at Harry Dunham Park. This is for all St. Mark’s members who can’t make it on Sunday mornings, for whatever reason. It is ALSO an outreach to that area of Bernards Township. Come. Invite your friends.
This Sunday at 9AM is the first session of The Sunday Forum, and our new series on Prayer. This course is designed for those who already have a rich prayer life, and for those who would like one. We’ll learn about some of the great traditions and the people behind them. And, we’ll all learn some new ways to incorporate prayer into our busy lives.
We’ve completely reworked our faith-and-the-arts program for this year. It’s going to be every “second Saturday” at noon—and it’s for the whole family. All ages. All abilities. Everyone. You don’t have to commit to a whole program, you just show up on the Saturdays that you can. October 13th is our first session. Mark the date on your calendar, and look for more information soon.
The blessing of the pets will be held at the Saturday 5PM service at the Indoor Pavilion at Harry Dunham Park. If weather permits, we’ll try and be outside the Pavilion.
Our third annual Recovery Sunday will be held on Sunday October 14th. As our town and our country are ravaged by addictions, we will take the Sunday to pray for those in addiction’s grip, and celebrate those who are on the road to recovery. This is a Sunday to invite friends, neighbors, and interested members of the community.
Mark your calendars for this exciting event, where we’ll go around the world with wines and food. Saturday October 27th.
