"We are Disciples imbued by the Holy Spirit (Mathew 28:19-20.) Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."
This weekend begins our Stewardship of Treasure Campaign for Offertory. Last year we eliminated our deficit. This year’s goal is to fund the budget completely as we still have many areas that are underfunded. Please pick up your families packet at the back of the Church after Mass. We will mail those that are not picked up on Monday.
Next weekend, November 3rd and 4th, we will hand out our first edition of our “Stewardship of Treasure” at Mass. This will be given out during our Offertory drive each year. The “Stewardship of Treasure” will include information on giving, an assessment of where we are in our mission and where we hope to be, along with an annual accounting of our income and expenses from the prior fiscal year, along with a summary of our budget for the upcoming year. Take time to look through the pages of this booklet as they consider before the Lord how he has called them to financially support the mission of our parish in the coming year.
During the weekend November 10th and 11th will be “Commitment Sunday”. Bring your pledge and drop it in the basket at the base of the Sanctuary. No matter how large or small your pledge, all are invited to bring their gift to the Lord. If you are unable to bring your pledge to Mass, please feel free to mail it back in the envelope provided in your packet or drop it by the office.
If you have any questions, please call Maggie Wright, OFS, Director of Accounting and Development at 740.345.8708, extension 204.

Mayhem October 28th, 7:00 pm at St. Edwards Church
Saints of the Church live lives of heroic virtue; some Saints are great mystics who revealed to us a deep understanding of the Lord. Some Saints founded orders that exist hundreds of years later. Some Saints were called by God to not only live for Him, but to die for him as well. Martyr Mayhem is a (comical) look at the lives of some of these great Saints. Join us for dinner, games, and a live-action look at the Saints who came before us. See Ed Watson for more details.
Father Dave will offer the Sacrament of Healing, in the form of anointing after all the Masses this weekend, October 27 & 28. This special blessing is given to anyone in need of healing and is a way to make one feel strengthened and more connected with God in both mind and body.
SAVE THE DATE
our parish will begin a consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary to finish on the feast of the Immaculate Conception. You can pick up a small print pamphlet of 33 Days to Morning Glory after Mass the next 3 weekends or outside the parish office. Suggested donation is $1 to help us cover the cost. We also have a few paper back regular prints at church for $15 and you can order 33 Days to Morning Glory on Amazon for approximately $10.
