THANKSGIVING, BINGO, CHRISTMAS, CPR
(Make sure to read it to the end.)
"Where most men work for degrees after their names, we work for one before our names: Saint."
November 2nd already? Only three weeks until Thanksgiving! This time of year everyone starts "preparing". Preparing the meals... the table... the gifts. The most important thing we need to prepare, though, is ourselves.
How are you preparing?
We just celebrated the Feast of All Saints, a Holy Day of Obligation, and today is the Feast of All Souls.
Sunday at 10AM
we will celebrate Mass for our beloved parishioners who passed away over the last year. The smallest part of our lives is spent here on earth. As
The business of the Christian is nothing else than to be ever preparing for death."
Do we need to live somber, depressed lives? NO! We are called to live lives of joy and hope, but... can we do more to honor God and help others?
Today, remember to pray for those who passed away. You can still have a loved one remembered in a Novena of Masses by sending in your All Souls envelope. Set the example at home.
We will all need prayers ourselves one day.
Who will pray for us?
On to the news...

When we say that we are working hard to strengthen our relationship with our neighbors, we mean it. This year all three of our churches will be joining to celebrate Christmas together. Be a part of it. It is going to be beautiful!
