CALLING ALL BAKERS
The annual Women of St. Francis “Before Christmas bake sale” will be held on Saturday, December 8, 9 am-2 pm (open to the public) and following the 5 pm Saturday Mass & Sunday morning Masses. To be successful, we need LOTS of baked goods. St. Francis bakers are the best, so we are calling upon all the bakers in the parish. Please bring baked goods to Johnson Hall before Friday 12/7 at 6 pm. Questions? Please contact Carol @740-366-3090.
Sundays beginning 12/9 through Epiphany Sunday, 1/6, are Undies Sunday! During this drive, we ask parishioners to provide new packaged or tagged underwear for toddlers through seniors, males and females who are in need. Realizing that dignity starts with the basics, we seek to provide new underwear to those who may not have the resources for this foundational garment (and is one that most agencies don’t provide). All underwear collected is distributed by various social service outreach groups in Licking County. Drop your donation in the laundry baskets found at the church doors or contact the parish office for details.
“We are Disciples imbued by the Holy Spirit”
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”
Our Stewardship of Treasurer is still underway. To date we have collected
in pledges. We are half way there! This year’s goal is to fund the budget completely as we still have many areas that are underfunded. Please turn in your pledges to the Office or drop them in the collection basket.
If you have any questions, please call Maggie Wright, OFS, Director of Accounting and Development at 740.345.8708 extension 204.
