Happy New Year!
MY GRATITUDE TO ALL OF YOU
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It is now three months and two days since you all welcomed me to our parish. First I wish to express my profound gratitude for your great hospitality, encouragements, supports and most of all your prayers.
I must sincerely share with you that you all made me feel very much at home and I gratefully thank God for you and for allowing me to be a part of your human and spiritual life. Also, I must thank you for all the Christmas cards, gifts, notes, treats, fruits and cookies during the Christmas season, I AM ALL JOLLY! And a special Thank You to all who helped make my installation a very holy and memorable event.
Please know that I am joyful to be with you and I am very open for your feedback and any feedback that would help us to continue growing as one family of faith.
I am wishing you a Fruitful New Year. May God continue to bless all our good deeds, Amen
Rev Fr. Faustinus Anyamele

Family Fellowship Group
I'm very excited to announce that Adam Thomas has offered to spend some time at our gatherings teaching the children some hymns and practicing singing with us so that we can have a children's (or maybe family?) choir that sings, from time to time, for the parish, at Mass. This idea is still in the beginning stages, and details are being worked out, but it's not too soon to start learning songs and practicing - I think this will give our group a meaningful purpose and it's a wonderful way to serve and give back to our parish! No pressure if a church choir is not your thing - participation is optional of course - this is just a chance to worship the Lord through song, together as group - remember "singing is praying twice" :)
I am checking in to see if Saturday, January 26th at 3:00 works for the group to get together in the church basement?
We can share
(until 3:30 for those attending mass) and
at the beginning, discuss logistics for making the children's choir happen, and I'll bring a few
if we have time after that, before mass. Especially for those with younger children, please take this chance to receive the sacrament of reconciliation while we have "built in childcare" :)
