During Lent, Christians all over the world show their gratitude for their blessings. So, each Sunday of Lent we will ask for certain items, which will be placed in the Donation Room of the Church Gathering Space. These items will feed the hungry through the Good Samaritan food pantry.
First Sunday of Lent—March 10
Canned Soups, crackers (saltines), Baked Beans and Canned vegetables.
Second Sunday of Lent – March 17
Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Canned Fruit
Third Sunday of Lent – March 24
Cold Cereal, Breakfast Bars, and Canned Vegetables
Fourth Sunday of Lent - March 31
Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken, Stews, Corned Beef, chili with meat)
Fifth Sunday of Lent - April 7
Cocoa Packets, Coffee Packets, Juice (sips or cans), Dry Milk (envelopes)
***Small boxes and small-regular cans are
preferred.
