Lenten Service Project: Milk Money for Manto!!
Since it is the season of Lent, our middle school and high school youth (including Confirmation) will be participating in a fundraiser until the end of April. This will be to collect money in order to provide meals for the poor children in Honduras.
We are asking our youth to bring spare change/bills starting THIS WEDNESDAY to give to the collection.
Part of our Lenten sacrifice is to fast and give alms. We are providing our youth with the opportunity during this season of Lent to give to those who are in need.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR YOUTH BRING THEIR MONEY THIS WEDNESDAY TO HELP THOSE WHO ARE LESS FORTUNATE!
See the attached flyer for more information. Thank you for educating your youth on this important practice of almsgiving!
"Our Lady listens attentively to what God wants, ponders what she doesn’t fully understand and asks about what she doesn’t know. Then she gives herself completely to doing God's will: Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to your word. Isn’t that marvelous?" -St. Josemaria Escriva
