Pope Francis wants to hear from you!
Pope Francis has requested information from Young People for the 15th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops which will be held in October of 2018 on the theme
"Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment"
This is a really big deal!
In preparation for that Synod, our Archbishop, John C. Wester, is asking if you will give 20 minutes of your valuable time to answer some questions. The requirements for taking the survey are:
you are 19-29 years old (this is what Rome is asking for).
you must be a baptized Catholic and have received at least the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
You DO NOT have to be a practicing Catholic to fill out the survey (think about people you know who are not practicing and consider sharing it with them - their input is critical to this survey).
Will you help us out?
Click the survey to get started!
Congratulations Barry and Emilee!
Congrats are in order for the healthy arrival of Gianna Reinholz who was born on Friday, June 9th, weighing in at 7lbs 1oz, 20.5 in. Here she is with her big sister Raella! Let us thank God for her safe arrival!
Thank You Sr. Betty
It is with hearts of gratitude, we give thanks to God for Sr. Betty, for her big heart and for her passion for young people she served over the last four years at Annunciation, in various capacities. She has been asked to help elsewhere in the Canossian Institute. Let us keep her in prayer during this time of transition.
Sr B, we will definitely miss your smile, your warmth, your generosity, your amazing artistry and your joy. Vaya con Dios Hermana! We love you!
Congratulations to Sam LaGrande on acquiring a job that involves her field of expertise!
Good Bye :(
Long-time Frassati member James Bergin has accepted employment in Ohio and is already settling in to that work as we speak. He will be missed! James, when in town to visit your folks, stop by and say hello!
Annunciation had a good response to the Archdiocesan appeal for volunteers to form teams to help refugees. Three of our Frassati folks will be helping out. So, hopefully they will be willing to jot a few lines for future newsletters so we can support their sponsored families' progress.
